Spring B
Come to Vernon Hills, home to one of the premier baseball facilities in the Midwest! The Spring B offers top-tier competitive play for community-based programs from local towns and neighboring states.
This tournament is open to teams participating as "B" Teams or below. No elite teams or “tournament only” teams are permitted.
Games
Teams will play a minimum of 3 games, weather permitting.
Pool play + bracket/consolation games.
When
May 21, 2026 - May 24, 2026
Ages
This tournament features division play for ages 9U through 14U.
Rosters
Teams will be allowed to roster 13 playing members.
Location
All games will be at the Vernon Hills Athletic Complex (VHAC) in Vernon Hills, IL, one of the premier baseball facilities in the area.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The fields have covered dugouts, scoreboards, and lights.
- Game balls provided for each game
- No charge for admission or parking.
- Onsite restrooms and concessions.
- No smoking.
- Certified umpires officiate each game.
- Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place teams (max 12 awards).
- Trophy presentations will take place after the championship game on the field.
- The schedule will be posted no later than 4 days before the start of the tournament.
REGISTRATION QUALIFIERS
To participate in Vernon Hills tournaments, teams must be registered in a community-based league (i.e. LSFBL, MSBL, WSBL, KCBL or etc.).
Tournament only teams will not be permitted.
During registration teams will need to supply their league affiliation and level of play. If a team changes to a higher level after their tournament registration, it’s their responsibility to contact VHTournament@vhcbs.com, as soon the change is made, to receive a refund minus the $75 service fee. The Tournament Directors reserve the right to remove teams from the tournament with NO REFUND if they are caught participating at a higher level than the tournament level they registered for (i.e. An elite league team playing in an “A” tournament or an “A” league team playing in a “B” tournament).
REFUNDS
- Any team that withdraws after registration has been confirmed and payment has been made will not receive a refund unless a replacement team is found. Once a replacement team has registered, the team that withdrew will receive a refund for their registration fee minus $75 service fee.
