Cougar Classic
Come to Vernon Hills, home to one of the premier baseball facilities in northern Illinois! The first ever Cougar Classic will offer competitive play for community-based programs from local cities and towns.
This tournament is open to teams participating at the B or C level in a community-based travel league. Elite, A, B teams are not allowed.

Registration Requirements
- Level of play for this tournament is C. No elite, A, B level teams.
- Teams must participate in regular season play in a community-based leagues like LSFBL, MSBL, and GCBL . No tournament only teams.
- Maximum roster size 13 playing members. No Exceptions

To participate in Vernon Hills tournaments, teams must be registered in a community-based league (i.e. LSFBL, MSBL, WSBL, KCBL or etc.). Every team will be vetted
Tournament only teams will not be permitted.
When registering, teams must specify the travel league and level of play for the 2026 season. If, after registration, a team moves to a higher level (e.g., from C to B) than what was initially registered for, they must notify VHTournament@vhcbs.com as soon as the change occurs. If this happens, the team will be removed from the tournament. Provided a replacement team is found, the original team will receive a refund minus a $75 service fee.
Teams that participate at a higher level than what they registered for, without notifying the Tournament Directors, will be removed from the tournament with no refund.
Refund Policy
- Withdraw From the Tournament: Teams that withdraw after registration is confirmed and payment is made will not receive a refund, unless a replacement team is found. Once a replacement team registers, the withdrawing team will receive a refund for their registration fee, minus a $75 service fee.
